2026 ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships
August 26–30, Poznań – Malta Regatta Course

From August 26 to 30, Poznań will host the world’s top canoe sprint and paracanoe athletes, competing for world championship titles at the 2026 ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships. The Malta Regatta Course will be the stage for thrilling races in kayak and canoe events, as well as competitions featuring the best paracanoe athletes from around the globe. The program will also include additional races aimed at promoting canoeing.

The World Championships in Poznań will be one of the key qualification events for the Olympic Games, which means the biggest stars of the sport will be in attendance, including medalists from the Paris Olympics. For many national teams, this will be the most important event of the season in their quest for Olympic qualification.

The event will bring together hundreds of athletes from over one hundred countries, all competing for medals in the most prestigious canoeing event worldwide. Spectators can expect not only top-level sporting action but also numerous side attractions, fan zones, and the unique atmosphere of a major international event.
