Augustibluus Festival is the biggest blues festival in the Baltics and one of the longest-running music events in Estonia. Since its inception in 1993, the festival has captured the hearts of audiences and earned praise from both local and international music critics.

Held in the charming seaside resort town of Haapsalu, on Estonia’s west coast, Augustibluus draws music lovers with its picturesque setting, welcoming atmosphere, tasty food, and—most importantly—great music.

Over the past two decades, Augustibluus has showcased hundreds of artists from more than 30 countries, including internationally renowned blues legends like The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Lucky Peterson, Kirk Fletcher, Matt Schofield, Omar Kent Dykes, Lance Lopez, Ana Popović, Gene Taylor, Ian Siegal, and many more—not to mention the very best of Estonia’s own talent.

The 2025 lineup features an exceptional mix of blues powerhouses, including:

Curtis Salgado (USA),

Chris Cain (USA),

Stefan Hauk (AUS),

Blues Against the Machine (International),

The Blackburn Brothers (Canada),

Krissy Matthews & The Viking Blues Band (UK/Norway),

Maurice John Vaughn (USA),

and many more.

For two days, the blues takes over nearly every corner of Haapsalu. With over 35 concerts on 10 different stages, the festival offers something for every blues fan. The main stage is set in the magical ruins of the medieval Episcopal Castle, acoustic concerts are held in the historic Railroad Station, and workshops take place in the Haapsalu Cultural Center. Smaller stages are spread across town, and the legendary late-night jam sessions at the festival club are a must for night owls and musicians alike.

Augustibluus has truly earned its reputation as a blues lover’s paradise.
