Projekt powstał jako przeciwieństwo jego bardziej mainstreamowej twórczości i skupia się na surowych rytmach, mocnym basie i klubowej energii.
Jako HI-LO wydaje muzykę w stylistyce techno i techno-house, regularnie wspieraną przez czołowych artystów sceny i graną na największych festiwalach oraz w renomowanych klubach na całym świecie. Jest również założycielem wytwórni HILOMATIK, w której promuje nowoczesne, bezkompromisowe produkcje techno.
