W utworze ,,Sounds Alive” dwie kobiety spotykają się w czasie wojny, połączone wspólnym losem. Czasem są wrogami, niekiedy siostrami – ale obie związane są z miejscem i sobą nawzajem w sposób nierozerwalny. Ich wspólna podróż pełna jest jednocześnie chwil bliskości i dystansu, siły i kruchości. Walczą ze sobą i stawiają czoła trudnym sytuacjom, na które reagują w różnym rytmie i z różną intensywnością. Bohaterki ,,Sounds Alive” próbują śpiewać, krzyczeć, mówić, ale ostatecznie są w stanie wydać z siebie tylko jeden dźwięk, za pomocą którego opowiadają swoją historię. At times they are enemies, at others – sisters. Both are inextricably connected to each other and to the place they inhabit. Their journey is marked by moments of closeness and distance, strength and fragility.
